        Large oil on canvas set in to an original gilt 19th Century frame.

        the painting  is after Winslow Homer and was completed for a photographic shoot in the late 80's

        it  depicts a union soldier just returned from the civil war harvesting on his land.

        the frame is in very good condition generally with a couple of small bits of

        damage.

        size is 214 cm x 162 cm x 10 cm. over the entire frame.
